Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was also a teammate and the team captain for the 2012's Fierce Five, as well as the team captain for the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In the 2012 Olympics she took gold both on the team floor as well as the individual events. The bronze medal was awarded through her balance bar. This meant that she was the very first American in the Olympics with the top number of medals. The 2016 Olympics included her winning a gold at the team event, earning Gabby and Gabby the honor of being the first Americans ever to win consecutive gold medals for a team. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals at the all-around event and floor exercises. Following the 2nd Olympics the gymnast stopped for three years gymnastics. In addition, she was a member of two gold-winning American team in gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor exercise. The gymnastics training began at the age of two years old. Aly has a strong support for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who died due to cancer. She plans to pursue an occupation as a designer. Her future goals include the expansion of her signature line of leotards. Fierce is a novel she will release later this year.
